Who we are — and are not

This site is an independent English-language guide to the Euclid Mathematics Contest, operated together with authorized test-centre and preparation services in China. It is not the CEMC and not the University of Waterloo, and nothing here is an official statement of theirs. Official rules, dates and results always come from cemc.uwaterloo.ca, which prevails over anything written here if the two ever disagree.

Information is provided as-is

We check claims against official releases — results booklets, contest pages, published terms — and print corrections when we find errors. Even so, contest details change season to season, and we cannot guarantee every figure is current at the moment you read it. Verify deadlines and rules against the official source before acting on them.

No outcome guarantees

Preparation improves odds; it does not purchase results. Nothing on this site — including course descriptions and reported past results — is a promise of any score, award, admission, or scholarship. Historical results are the record of past students, not a forecast for future ones.

Services are contracted separately

Test-centre registration and courses are arranged through the advisor channel, with their prices, schedules and refund terms stated at the time of engagement. Note that the CEMC itself offers no refunds, credits or cancellations on contest orders, which binds every registration route. These website terms govern the website; service engagements are governed by what is agreed when you engage them.

Intellectual property

Original text and design on this site belong to the site operator. Contest papers, solutions, results booklets and related materials belong to the CEMC / University of Waterloo; we link to and cite them with attribution. Photographs are credited where shown. Do not republish this site’s content wholesale without permission.

Acceptable use & changes
