The marks must be earned
Effective August 2026 · the desk’s standing position
A contest whose whole value lies in graded written argument is worthless if the writing is not the student’s own. This page states, in writing, how this desk operates — and what it refuses to do.
What we do
All preparation uses legitimately released materials: the CEMC’s published past contests and solutions, its official preparation modules, and our own original teaching materials. Test sittings we administer follow the CEMC’s supervision requirements — in-person, on the official date, under the published conduct rules. Results we report as our record are our students’ real results.
What we refuse
No live or pre-release contest content, ever. No impersonation, ghost-writing, or “guaranteed score” schemes. No coaching that depends on breaching supervision rules or device policies. Requests for any of these end the conversation.
What the CEMC enforces
The stakes are real and published: flagged papers can be disqualified, anomalous scores have been cancelled in recent seasons, offers of admission can be revoked, and in severe cases an entire school can lose access to CEMC contests in following years. Appeals are accepted only through the writing school or test centre — never from individual students. Anyone writing the Euclid should read the conduct rules in our contest-day guidelines before sitting the paper.
On our own pages
Articles on this site cite their sources, prefer official releases, and print corrections rather than burying them. If you find an error — factual or numerical — tell the advisor channel and it will be checked against the record and fixed.
